Some improvements

Here’s another build of Nero Lite mainly to fix the automated serial entering. Thanks to help from MSFN forum member XhmikosR also some improvements are added to the Nero Lite installer .

Although I keep maintaining support for Nero 7 Lite and Nero 8 Lite I will not put effort into making the SDK support Nero 9.

Nero Lite build 1.18.2.1 changelog:
- Fix automated serial entering
- Implement user suggestions:

  • Add Nero7 E-AC3/TrueHD and DTS Express support
  • Improve registry cleanup on uninstall
  • Disable multiple instances of setup to run
  • Detect if Nero is running
  • Improve setup compression

- Update InnoSetup -> 5.2.24
- Update SQLite -> 3.6.12

    First, I wanna thank you for your work, you’re doin really great and needed job. My hat’s off to you!

    I’m sorry, I just don’t know the reason, why don’t you try to do Nero 9? Is it buggy, unstable version?

    If you get an error in relation to NeroFileDialog.dll, Abort the installation, then try uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redist.

    Run the installer once more, and let it install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redist.

    When running Nero Lite, version 8.3.13.0 under Windows 2008 Server, while ejecting and asking for a new CD/DVD while an MP3 is playing, it crashes everytime.

    It may be Winamp (v5.551), but I think its Nero, not the mp3 player. This has happened twice, thus far.

    Could you please look into this? Thank you!

    Why don’t you guys ask Nero to pay you ?

    After all, they’re making (even more) money by your efforts, and because people get sick of their stupid efforts of bloating things up to keep the selling numbers high.

    It was getting time people don’t fall for this bloating tricks any more, and start looking for something slick again.

    hy
    first of all congratulations on a job well done
    nero works perfectly
    but there is a problem
    when i opened nero today to burn a dvd
    i told me i need burn rights because i am not the administrator
    there is no other user on my computer
    i tried uninstall\reinstall but it doesn’t work
    cand you check it out please?

    hmm because you are not an administrator, you dont have acces to burner…

    try insall nero burning rigts

    Great stuff the full install of 7 is an abomination, but I really miss the ability to erase RW’s without installing another application.
