It would be good to include the Nero Smart.

So my question more of a request to this fine person doing us all a favor by making Nero Lite for us is to add Nero Smart to the main or seperate release. I’m not sure but i think Nero Smart can work with without Express.

The difference by making a installer with Smart is that there is no need to update it. The dodo head designers at Nero have ruined it and I very much doubt they will revert back to its old form. So one release that has the last version before they changed it would be much appreciated.

After all the latest Nero 9 is bunch of crap 3gb long. They have totally trashed the Nero Smart into something so hideous you wouldn’t even recognize regardless that it takes half your screen. Besides that we all know features can be made into plugins so if the new Nero was so good as developers claimed they would have given an option for you to download the main program and choose either to stay at Burning features or add all the other bullshit as plugins if you have use for them.

To me and everybody that used that Nero Smart was the ultimate interface containing every function ready to execute fast at 2-3 clicks, not only that but i had a color mode that was looking really well.

So all best wishes for the Nero lite initiative and please consider the request.

When I start making a new compilation (CD or DVD) I always go to Dates tab to set a unique date for all of my files and a date of creation and modification of the volume. With your versions of Nero (Lite or Micro) the date/time I choose doesn’t change even if that flag is checked. Is it because there is missing a file or something in your distribution? Could you try to get a fix for this, please? Thanks. Anyway, I must congratulate you for all the work you do! Ciao!!!

Dll registering problem solved. My account was in the Administrators group, but it was not enough, I had to run the install as the Administrator.

Cannot install on Vista32. Regsvr32 failed on some dlls. I have to use Nero Micro 7.x.

Nice job. Nothing better than Good software made better by eliminating all the bloat. Any particular reason why dvdshrink doesn’t recognize nero being installed? Vista64,,,Thanks
