Nero 8 Lite / Micro

As Nero released Nero 8 last month, at first glance looking at the changelog I didn’t suspect to see any changes made to the main Nero Burning Rom utilities. However to make Nero 8 Lite it just wasn’t enough to change only version numbers :)

One problem I wasted time on was making Nero WaveEditor work. When I couldn’t find a possible mistake in my code I searched the internet and found users reporting the same problem and temporal work-around.

Nero 8 Lite 8.1.1.0 changelog:

  • Upgraded components to Nero 8
  • Resource optimizations and general cleanup
  • Turkish language moved to Asian package

Go download Nero 8 Micro or Nero 8 Lite.

    what is the differences bethven Nero-8.1.1.0_europe_micro.exe and Nero-8.1.1.0_english_micro.exe?

    I’ve installed Nero 8.1.1.0 Lite on Windows Vista x64, and every time when i open Nero Burning Rom and create a New Compilation, when i drag & drop files from the file browser to the compilation, they don’t appear there, and from then on, I can’t do anything in Nero, any button I click does nothing. Has anyone beside me experienced this problem in Nero 8 Lite?

    Help Acheron, I don’t know what to do.

    Try to launch Nero as an Administrator (context menu of the .exe).

    this build doesn’t support Labelflash ?
    the programe tell me “the editor does not started”. And the CoverDesigner start with empty content.

    Micro is only Nero Burning Rom + Nero Express!! just burn and enjoy!!
    Lite has all Micro features plus Nero WaveEditor, Nero CoverDesigner, Nero BurnRights, Nero DiscSpeed, Nero DriveSpeed, and Nero InfoTool(yea that’s all).

    But Nero8 has many many software!!(most of them are junk in my opinion; just bloated for over 170MB and need so much RAM to run…)

    nero express has not a functional preview tool for audio files in add process window. that s a huge loss. why should anybody change from 6 to 8 of not any advantages brought by/

    i mean on the lite version if you try to preview file u have to add for a compilation.
